Nicki Rogers is a vivacious and passionate singer/songwriter and has worked in Christian ministry for over 10 years. With humour and heart, Nicki presents her songs and her experience of life and God to audiences both inside and outside the church.
After training in contemporary dance and performing arts, Nicki started her ministry with the band ‘Shine’. Shine worked in the high schools of Milton Keynes and toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe and the United States. It was this groundwork that helped sow the seed of Nicki’s passion and vision for sharing her faith in a relevant way that does not alienate unchurched people.
After four years with Shine, Nicki moved on to write two solo albums. Colour Scheme debuted in 2002 and Feeder Lane in 2004. Both albums are written with honesty and a desire to draw people to the heart of a God who loves them.
Moving to London in 2006 to reach a wider audience in the secular music scene, Nicki was warmly received in venues across London and was nominated for an Indy Award in 2008. Nicki?s third album Once in a while was released in September 2009 during her tour of the UK with evangelist J John.
With a passion for playing music and allowing God to speak to people wherever they may be in their life and spiritual journey, Nicki is an ideal artist for those who would like to introduce others to faith in a gentle and accessible way.
